Making the Most of Northern Virginia’s Pet Resources
Town & Country Animal Hospital has been an active participant in Northern Virginia’s growing pet community for more than 30 years. During that time, we have met so many wonderful pets and their families. We’ve also been asked for tips and suggestions about a variety of topics, ranging from dog training and pet supplies to upcoming community events for pets.
That’s why we decided to put together a collection of these resources. We wanted to provide helpful tools, as well as a place to share everything from special pet health success stories to photos of the wonderful animals that make up our Town & Country family. We hope you will enjoy them and perhaps even contribute your own pet’s picture as well!
Speaking of pets and our community, did you know that Town & Country Animal Hospital acts as the animal shelter for the City of Fairfax? Working in conjunction with animal control personnel, our veterinarians and staff provide all medical and husbandry services for any animals that are found as strays or surrendered within the city limits of Fairfax.
If your or someone you know is interested in adopting a new companion, please visit the Fairfax Animal Control website to see the animals that are currently available. Should a special pet catch your eye, you are welcome to come by our hospital to meet him or her in person. If you would prefer to help out in other ways, donations of towels and pet toys are always welcome! Now, let’s take a closer look at those pet resources and tools we mentioned.

Doctors and staff are always very friendly, and helpful. I have a very timid dog, and I feel they do the best they can to make her comfortable.
